Positive: Great location, close to the beach, the shopping and restaurant area as well as the bus stop to Fira. Nice terrace and balconies for each room. Air conditioning was a blessing. There were some noisy neighbors across the street but nothing horrific. The apartment was well-equipped, spacious and comfortable - either built or renovated recently. Perissa beach was marvelous - stay close to the cliff face, where the water is sandy and calm. The best part was our hosts Markos and Petros - like two uncles having us for a vacation! We could turn to them with any questions practically any time of the day. We even got some gifts from them! They arranged transfer from the airport and waited for us with the keys, showing us around the apartment - even though it was after 10pm (the flight was delayed). Very convenient and comfortable.

Negative: A matter of preference but the mattresses were a little too hard for my comfort but on asking, we were provided with a memory foam top layer which made it a lot better. A sandwich maker would be a great addition to the kitchen to warm up some pita breads.

Summary: Great apartment close to the best beach on the island with wonderful hosts
