florence is well connected to all major cities in italy by extensive, well maintained motorways and efficient and fast train connections
if you are travelling with young children, have lots of luggage or wish for a completely stress-free experience, we recommend booking a private car with driver service (see below)
travelling by train:
italy has an efficient and fast train network So, if you are arriving into airports in Rome, Milan, Bologna, Venice or Naples, you can catch the express train (Trenitalia Frecciarossa or Italo) which offers direct services to Florence. Please note that a change may be required from the airport terminal to the train station and then once in Florence you will need to take a taxi or hire a car to reach the apartment. i
