Positive: It truly is a little spot in paradise! We loved being in a gated community with beautiful villas and an awesome pool for all ages no matter the time we were enjoying it. The pool was perfect for my toddler as the pool starts at zero feet. Foot by foot gradually increased until 6 feet by the center rock island. It was great for my boy to enjoy and for us to not worry about his safety. A short pleasant walk to the beach on the evenings was perfect. The Salty Parrot villa was so nice and clean and well put together. Giving the rooms & space for my family of 9 and still extra room for up to 12. My mom and dad stayed with us and they absolutely loved it. Our teen girls enjoyed their space and privacy. Early morning coffee on the balcony was amazing. And after a long day of fun a jacuzzi tub in the master room was heaven sent! None of us wanted to leave! Moments from near by Publix , Starbucks, Bruster’s, Walmart, Bass pro shops & an outdoor mall. A few minutes from downtown Destin and Captain Leonard’s Destin Park and many outdoor fun full activities for the kids. And after bringing umbrellas chairs and beach toys. We realized, it was completely unnecessary for just us 4. For next time we will only pack clothes , towels and one extra umbrella and our cooler.. All else is covered by property owners. Plenty of bath towels for everyone and clean!! I loved that we could use the washer and dryer. And to add on to how amazing our stay was the owners were super awesome with me throughout the entire booking and stay. They jumped to make sure propane tanks were filled for the grill to be used. Thank You April & Jason you guys are terrific and sincere ;)
Negative: Absolutely nothing to dislike. All perfect.
Summary: Highly recommend for a small family or a big family. The Salty Parrot was our home away from home.
