the grade ii listed house was built in the mid 1700's and has recently undergone an extensive renovation, completing in march 2024 The exposed stone wall in the kitchen and hall are part of an old Roman building, believed to be the Forum, inside Lindum Colonia, dating back to the 3rd century.
the house is set across three storeys and due to the listing restrictions, it isn't suitable for people that have mobility issues The lounge and kitchen diner are located on the ground floor. A bedroom and bathroom are on the first floor with the second bedroom on the second floor.
tea, coffee, sugar and milk will be provided for your stay along with a range of cleaning items
the living area and both bedrooms have a smart tv and the property has super fast wi-fi
you can park for up to 1 hour at the front of the property between the hours of 8am - 6pm monday to saturday There is a car park a minute or two's walk away which we would recommend - Westgate 1 East Car Park, LN1 3AS.
