there is plenty to see and do in the area and you are close to the historic little town of usk with its fairy tale castle, independent shops, many pubs and famous floral decorations The appealing village of Raglan, 8 miles, has a castle, pubs, farm shop, gliding club and award-winning butcher. The area is in the heart of historic and beautiful county of Monmouthshire, with its myriad attractions and eateries. Tintern Abbey, 14 miles, is definitely a must see as is the market town of Abergavenny, 9 miles, which hosts the famous food festival in September each year. There is also a number of pub and eateries. Golf courses abound and there is excellent walking in the Brecon Beacons, Offa’s Dyke, Wye and Usk Valley. Alternatively, why not hire a private chef for the evening or go midweek cleaning and shooting which both can be arranged with the owner at extra cost. Shop 4 miles, pub and restaurant ½ mile.
