this unique, split-level unit has character that’s hard to match, with the kitchen, bedroom, and bath elevated a few steps above the living area The layout is due to the historical nature of the original building and the additions made to it in the 70s. It is thought that the original building was an old trolley stop with rooms for rent, located elsewhere on the island and moved here to create the Inn. We do know, from the original floor plans of the building, that the original floor plan looked almost nothing like it does now. thus, small bedrooms and stairs in places one wouldn't expect but lots of character!
