2 Bedroom Cottage in Hardwick, Milledgeville
Located 7 miles from Georgia College and State University, and Georgia Military College, and 10 miles from Lake Sinclair, this old tenant house is part of a former farm on Fox Hill. The main house was built in circa 1873, during the Reconstruction. This cottage was moved in 2011 from a farm 14 miles away. We remolded and and modernized it, while keeping the original warm atmosphere. It sits 100 yards from the main house, with easy access. There is a galley kitchen with micro wave, toaster oven, refrigerator, keurig coffee maker, and sink. Two large cozy bedrooms provide additional atmosphere. The large shower and designer bathroom sink are added features. There is a sitting room adjacent to the kitchen area with television and DVD player, plus table for eating and games and relaxing and talking. . A favorite feature is the front porch that has a breeze most days, and a view of the main house, pastures and forest, and amazing views of the stars at night. Plenty of parking in large pasture for boats or trailers. You will have privacy and yet not far away from hosts..
