Guests love staying at Spruce Hill Farm. This property is a small working farm on the outskirts of Long Lake / Orono in the heart of 'suburban' horse country. In addition to your own private pool and tennis court, walking and bike trails plus public golf are nearby. The home, located centrally on the property, is a supremely private place cloistered in a grove of mature spruce trees and is a special retreat for both small and large groups. We hear consistently that it's even better than the pictures show! The area is semi-rural with beautiful rolling hills—walking and biking trails plus public golf nearby—yet it's only 2-minutes to the city of Long Lake and 6-minutes to the charming lake community of Wayzata. It's also quick 20-minute drive to the hustle and bustle of downtown Minneapolis. An estate-like setting, the home offers you 2-levels of living space and is updated and immaculate with nice appointments. New mattresses, updated bathrooms, 100% cotton bed and bath linens and well-appointed kitchen all ensure your stay is pleasant and memorable. Orono / Long Lake / Medina areas. The main floor has 2 bedrooms, both with ensuite full baths, plus a 1/2 bath for all guests. The lower level has 3 bedrooms with one ensuite 3/4 bath and one full bath with a double vanity. Conventional beds (3 queen, 2 twin xl, 1 king) + 1 queen airbed. Base rate includes 7 guests (adults & kids). Extra $35/night per/guest fee. Minimum stay: 4 nights. Monthly rentals available. Please inquire about rates. The local community just 2-minutes away has a natural food co-op, coffee house, restaurants, hardware store, and other small retail shops. The suburban community of Plymouth with movie theaters, large grocery and many chain-restaurants is about 6-7 minutes in the opposite direction. I'm happy to get provisions in advance of your arrival if you like. You can reimburse me when you get here. Sorry, guests don't have access to barn, paddocks, or hay fields. Parking up to 4 cars, no garage access. PLEASE—An adult 18 years or older and who can swim MUST BE PRESENT AT ALL TIMES in the fenced pool area at any time when children less than 18 years are in the fenced pool area. NO EXCEPTIONS.
