Positive: The staff is very nice and helpful. I like that the hotel is within a 10 minute walk from the Union Station train/subway. The Capitol and Supreme Court is also within a 15 minute walk. One block away is a bicycle rental/retrieval station, although it was too cold on this visit to use the bikes (but I have used them on another stay at the Yotel in the summer).
Negative: The light controls are a little too futuristic. I had some trouble figuring out how it all worked. A simple on/off switch would be better. The shower has an on/off button that didn't seem to work at first. A few minutes after I pushed the button the shower finally started running. That was a bit odd.
