the top floor is the lantern room and gallery, and is accessible through a pull-down staircase You can walk out on the outdoor gallery and take in the amazing views. you'll see the bay of rustico, the dunes of brackley beach, the gulf of saint lawrence, robinson's island, rustico resort golf course, and a tree-top osprey nest that you can gaze right into! at night, you can stargaze like never before and sometimes even see the northern lights in the fall season!
the path takes you down to a secluded waterfront with warm shallow waters, right in the backyard! dig for clams, build sand castles, and relax just steps away! you can also observe a variety of birds and wildlife living in the nearby salt-water marshes
