Positive: This hotel (if that's the right word) is very special indeed, and certainly not for everyone. Some may find that it lacks some "normal" hotel facilities and that this is not reflected in the price (it's not cheap). Others may fall in love with all the books, music room, absence of TV's, new and original details of this old "Jugendstil" villa, the surrounding garden including hot tub, and the location, which is beautiful - just outside Fusio which is the last village at the end of the Valley of the Maggia. The nature surrounding it is overwhelming. The care and enthusiasm of Michelle completes this.

Negative: Measured by conventional hotel standards, there may certainly be some remarks (although nothing serious) - but that would be beside the point here.

Summary: Not for everyone, and not cheap. But we absolutely loved it
