Jávea is an authentic fishing town located on Spain's Costa Blanca, in the easternmost point of the Iberian Peninsula, 100 km from Valencia (north) and 90 km from Alicante (south). The beautiful beaches of Javea's 25-km-long coastline are mainly of stone and gravel. For example, the beaches of "Gravel" and "Cala Blanca" are perfect for water sports such as windsurfing, canoeing and jet-skiing. The small bays of Portitxol and Tang with their gravel beaches are ideal for diving and snorkeling. El Arenal is the sandy beach of Javea, and in addition to bars and restaurants, you will also find facilities such as a playground for children, volleyball fields and jet-ski and boat rentals. For sports lovers there is plenty to do. In and around Javea you will find several golf courses: Club de Golf (9 holes) and La Sella (18 holes).
