Positive: When we arrived we were greeted by very friendly staff and a welcome drink. The atmosphere of the room was very relaxing and the beds were the softest that we have slept in in Asia. For breakfast they have a few different selections available, both western and Asian which you can choose to eat in your room, the garden or their little café. The food was delicious and so fresh. Everything was clean and tidy. The staff were so helpful and kind. They helped me book last minute transport to Mae Kampong, with one of the staff even running down the street to hail down a car for me. They were a bit concerned with the slippery mountain roads and even sent me a message to check that I got there safely. When we sat at the pool, they brought out some mosquito repellent, water and fruit for free. The location is perfect. Right across the road from the Old City and walking distance to a lot, however the rooms were set back from the road so it isn't really loud. I cannot fault the staff or anything at Villa Alanna. They set the bar high for the other places that we stayed at in Thailand. 10/10. Although the price was a bit high, given we stayed during the Loi Krathong festival, I would definitely stay there again.

Negative: Nothing. It was amazing!
