Positive: Personnel over the phone patiently guided us to locate the keys. Functional space, except for the four armed dining chairs that took up the limited space and have no fleece affixed to the bottom of each leg. Sufficient storage space. Clean kitchen and bathroom. A functioning vacuum cleaner was provided. Well equipped kitchen. Generous supply of toilet rolls and trash bags. Location is 100 points.
Negative: Check in took us half a day to receive the code to the locker where the apartment key was kept. Confusing designated parking place. Unit number was not marked on the parking board. Apartment is not soundproof. One could hear the neighbor’s conversations, movements, and the sound of music and tv, traffic noise and dogs bark. Fridge is noisy. It disturbed the ones slept in the living room. Dishwasher failed to wash the dishes thoroughly after two hours, which resulted in handwashing all of them. Air ventilation in bathroom either didn’t work or there wasn’t one. Thin mattress on sofa bed. It is also very squeaky. It’s definitely not for anyone who weighs more than 50kg. Balcony was dirty. (At least) a small box of tissue papers was not provided. Poor workmanship and finishing of the apartment. Cracks are visible at the edges of the ceiling where the AC outflows are located and ceiling. Paint on wall (behind curtain) in bedroom is peeling off badly. Not related to the apartment, but it’s good to know for guests with toddlers: Aqua Park is small, dirty and cold. Not all showers were working. Floor is slippery, especially the pirate area for kids. My two year old slipped on his back and knocked his head. Kid’s Club in Hilton Hotel is a shared playroom with Radisson Hotel and Baltic Park Apartment. It costs 30 PLN an hour. The place is small and in a mess. Don’t expect to find good toys and clean air.
Summary: If it wasn’t for the beach, Świnoujście is overrated
