Villa La Colombaia is an old “Leopoldina” farmhouse typical of the Valdichiana, restored with care and respect for the Tuscan tradition, and located a few kilometers from the Etruscan town of Cortona. The villa is set among rolling hills, where the rich and fertile Valdichiana offers beautiful views of rows of cypresses, vineyards and olive groves. Cortona, beautiful to visit from an architectural point of view with its narrow streets and noble palaces, has also every kind of service. Only 1,5 km away from the villa we also find the small village of Fratta S. Caterina, where a restaurant and some basic shops are within walking distance. For those who love walking or cycling, next to the villa there is the “Sentiero della Bonifica” (Land Reclamation Path), which winds along the ancient main canal of the Chiana and connects Arezzo and Chiusi.
