it's set on a very private elevated allotment, in a horse shoe shaped section of tallebudgera valley on 18 acres. Syndicate Creek is down the hill and across the road (it doesn't flood at this elevation) and Ellem family park. Birds nest in the tress, there's Koala and the Pretty Faced Wallabies come into the grounds to feed and lounge.
the gardens have bush tucker plants, grevillias, flame trees, wattle, citrus trees (lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, kaffir lime, native lime), mulberry, black sapote (chocolate pudding), mangos, papaya and 'dwarf ducasse' bananas all year-round (no fruit bats in the area) There's also plenty of ornamental ginger, bromeliads and other tropical plants which makes the garden glow.
the house runs off two large concrete tanks, 70,000 litres I've never been below half even in the last drought. The sewerage system is called 'Biocycle' with 3 sprinklers feeding into the garden.
