as a couple, we have travelled the world and seen many beautiful places and beaches
we decided on a family holiday to ki on a whim that was 20 years ago
within 4 days we bought a property of 100 acres of native wilderness … and we are not spontaneous people.
we fell in love with the tranquillity, the wildlife and the pristine beaches
and what is even crazier… we bought the old pennshaw dump!
people today often comment that it is one of the best views on the island
we have turned a lemon into a lemonade
oh, by the way, the dump is long gone!
we have personally built our home from the ground up with many years of blood, sweat and tears Our goal was to build our home with as much up-cycled material as possible that is nothing like suburbia. This was our contribution to the environment in having a low carbon footprint.
