25 acres of gorgeous desert land with views of Joshua Tree National Park. The property includes many Joshua Trees and guests are frequently visited by wildlife - including birds, jackrabbits, chipmunks and lizards. The house is 9 miles from the entrance of Joshua Tree National Park and only a short drive from town.

we have a garage game room to enjoy! it includes a ping pong table, giant jenga, corn hole, and a yoga mat + weights We also have board games to enjoy.

the ox house has mini splits throughout the house, which provide air conditioning and heat to each room

the kitchen is fully stocked for those who want to cook during their stay Salt, pepper and coffee are provided, as well as filtered water and other spices. All the cookware you need is available to you here.

we provide all essential bathroom necessities, including bath towels, hand towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and a hair dryer

we have wifi on the property and cell service also works great

we have a propane fire pit located behind the house for your use, as well as a new hot tub built into a deck with a hang out space trailer

we have one security camera on the front patio of the property closest to the parking area This is for safety to protect the home when it's not occupied by guests. The camera films the front door and patio area, but cannot see into the house.

as the only professional management company in the area, we have always maintained exceptional cleaning standards We pay above the living wage standards; 100% of your cleaning fee is paid to the cleaners (i.e. no profit to us) and we insist on a professional level of cleaning between guests. We love the High Desert for a lot of reasons - including the open spaces, lack of crowds, and dry weather that we believe make it a safe place to visit.

many roads in the high desert are dirt, so please take it slow While a car is required to get around, a four wheel drive car is not, but note that roads will often have ruts, particularly after a rain.
