this cottage is packed with features The fully equipped cottage has everything you need other than food. All bedding, towels, kitchen, and living area are fully stocked and ready for you to enjoy. The 360 square feet are packed with a three-piece bathroom, kitchenette, lounge area, main bedroom (queen bed), and a bunk room (1 full, 1 twin ) provides a comfortable place for your escape to Forest Lake. The outside patio and access to Forest Lake and surrounding property make this a destination everyone will love. (Additional cot or air mattress provided on request for 5th and 6th guest).

we take covid-19 seriously All hard surfaces are cleaned with a bleach cleaning solution, and all soft surfaces are washed with bleach between guests. There is no need for you to interact with anyone during your stay; all access is electronic. We live on the property, and we'll give you a friendly wave if we happen to see you and are here to help if you need anything. The cottage is fully furnished, including the kitchen. If you would like to bring your own towels and linens for your stay, please reach out for a discount.

check-in and out is private, and there is no interaction with the owners required You will enjoy full private access to the cottage and share access to the surrounding 130 acres with the owners (who may or may not be present on the property and/or on the lake). We have pets and children you may encounter while enjoying the grounds, but the cottage can be your private refuge.

forest lake is nestled in 130 acres of wooded property, located on m-140 halfway between covert and south haven, michigan You can choose to take a short drive to local attractions during your stay or stay only on the property. Three major chain grocery stores are within 7 miles of Forest Lake, as well as several beaches, shops, restaurants, wineries, and breweries.

having guests visit during your stay $25 each for each of your guests 13 years and older. We invite you to share Forest Lake with friends and family during your reservation. Registered guests are welcomed between 10 am and 10 pm and must purchase a day pass prior to their visit to Forest Lake for each day of their visit. The number of guests listed in your accepted reservation is the maximum number of guests allowed to stay overnight.
the lake During the summer months the Lake maintains an average temperature of 80 degrees and is surrounded by acres of wilderness and wetlands, teeming with wildlife. Kayaks, canoe, and water floats are provided for your use. There is no lifeguard on duty; enjoy the water at your own risk. All guests are required to sign a liability waiver upon arrival.
the private, man-made, 168-acre Lake was completed in 2015 and was explicitly built and is used for various water sports, including, but not limited to, slalom skiing, trick skiing, ski jumping, and wakeboarding. Watersport usage is managed through our website at ForestLakeAdventures com and may be utilized by you and other Forest Lake guests during your stay. All cottage reservations for 5 nights or more receive 50% off all motorized water time! Sorry, no outside boats are allowed.
