Guests need to be aware that our great cleaning staff is being even more careful than usual, using the proper protocol to disinfect all surfaces and keep the property safe for the guests. We ask that only guests who are driving stay for now. We have a single neighbor who is very friendly but ask our guests to not approach them as they are senior citizens and at a higher risk. We are temporarily limiting the # of guests allowed to 8 instead of 10 for bookings through the end of August. Stay at The Fortress and stay safe. It's an amazing getaway for folks to de-stress during these trying times. There is access to great hiking trails only a mile from the house and we provide specific info to booked guests.

By end of April the lower level TV is being replaced with a 50" 4K flat screen model! The large loft bedroom has a comfy king bed with full bathroom/shower and a walk in closet. Two bedrooms on the main level each offer queen beds and share a full bath. The lower level has a full size sofa bed.

there is an additional charge of $10 per guest per night for each guest over 2 plus a cleaning charge of $155 for 1-4 guests, $180 for 5-7 guests, $200 for 8-10 guests, and $225 for 11-12 More than 10 guests also requires owner approval.
