Positive: The location, in the centre of the city, with sights and shopping just around the corner. The apartment is huge, spread out over three floors, and our kids loved having a whole floor to themselves. The bath tub in the old bathroom is awesome, as are the multiple historical details in the apartment. The big terrace overlooking the square and yard of the nearby church, with green parrots flying all around - that was the best.
Negative: Could use a little maintenance. The washing machine stood in the middle of the kitchen, one of the dining room chairs was broken, the folding door between the master bedroom and bathroom was broken (and was very thin), and the furniture on the terrace could be improved. Little annoying details that add to the overall experience. There is some noise from the street at night and mornings, so bring ear plugs. That’s the price you pay for staying in the centre.
Summary: Historical, spacious, central and with the best roof-top terrace.
