Travel Purpose: business

Positive: Very friendly staff, very dog friendly, lovely shared kitchen facilities. The rooms are nicely designed aesthetically and the bed was very comfortable. It's a very beautiful location, except for the village dogs (see below).

Negative: Unfortunately, the first room they gave us the hot water did not work. They quickly moved us to a new room, which was improved but the smell coming through the shower drain was bad and we had to cover it with a towel. Also, there is very little sound proofing and you can hear the people in the rooms next to you (flushing, phone alarm, conversations). All of this would have been fine, except in the area, there are numerous barking dogs in the village, which is not under their control, but nevertheless is the ultimate reason we would not stay again.

Summary: Nice staff, pet friendly, but dogs in the village barking would prevent us from staying again.
