you’ll be given a unique access code before check-in and you will have the entire cabin to yourself Parking is convenient, although the property is limited to a maximum of two parking spaces ( parking permits required). Once parked, it’s just a short walk up four stairs and along a paved pathway to reach the house.
getting around:
our cabin is hidden away in a chalet complex that is centrally located within minutes of the beach, shopping, dining, ski resorts and golf courses Since The TaHOME Retreat is in a private community, we highly recommend bringing or renting a car for the utmost convenience. In the broader parts of town, bus and shuttle services are available. Ridesharing and taxi services can be accessed as well. Biking and walking are also great options for traveling short distances.
the neighborhood:
we’re a quiet community of about 30+ cabins nestled in the woods Most of the neighbors are young families and very friendly. There’s a little stream running through the community as well. Despite being in a secluded area, the busier parts of town are just a short drive away. The chalet complex is also part of Incline Village which offers many fun recreational activities depending on the season, from hiking to skiing or just relaxing on the shores of Lake Tahoe.
