Travel Purpose: business

Positive: The breakfasts were delicious the host made them look fantastic. Then you could enjoy the breakfast with stunning views of rice terraces, Rinjani, and the sea in the distance. The experience all together was more than I had ever expected. Each day was packed with learning and activities, including farming, hiking, and hanging drinking coffee with the owners family and talking about life. The host had endless information and you could feel is passion to teach everyone about the local culture and environment. I went during Ramadan so it made it difficult in some ways, also it was so eye opening seeing the fasting and then the traditions when Muslims break the fast and being there to see and feel the emotions and attitudes. This area where the home stay is some of the most beautiful scenery and people that I’ve seen on my travels… This homestay is for educating about the loving, sharing, and supportive culture that lives and breathes on these hills at the doorstep to Rinjani!

Negative: The only thing was the bugs in the room, I did go during the rainy season, so just be prepared for lost of bugs!

Summary: In all I would highly recommend this place to get hands on experiences and learn so so much.
