in the spring and fall, concerts at the trailhead and the famous dew drop inn are nearby there are sling chairs for you to take to the concerts or a lakefront picnic!
two bikes are available for you to explore the area and take on the tammany trace bike trail, which is right down the street It is originally a corridor for the Illinois Central Railroad and is now Louisiana's first rail-trail from Downtown Covington to Slidell.
