Summary: While the property is nice, our overall response is that the owners built as many domiciles on this jungle property as possible to profit maximize. Our unit was really too small as the bed took up 70% of the room. Furthermore, they owners demonstrated that they knew little about building in the jungle. Every day something would fall on our roof and make the loudest noise that would startle us. I have lived and travelled extensive in the tropics and the architecture was simply out of place. While it may have had a modern jungle chic appeal, it was not functional. Clearly they tried to save money on the core construction while maintaining a visual apeal. Basically, it felt like the owners were trying to extract as much as they could frrom the land and the guests. Just did not feel like the place was in integrity. This being said the Costa Rican staff was outstanding. The issue was the all to familiar colonization of this beautiful land.
