this quiet, bijoux loft (65m2) is located just a few steps away from great restaurants and shops, the cathedral and grote markt There’s so much in town to explore, from the MAS museum to the fashionable 'ramblas' area... if only you manage to shut the door and leave this cosy nest behind.

‘op den spieghel’ is a newly renovated, fully equipped rooftop aerie/loft with fantastic views out onto this beautiful city, often called the manhattan of the 16th century
the building is secure and has a lift The loft includes a fully equipped kitchen, a dining/living area, a toilet, a bedroom with new queen-sized boxspring bed and en-suite bathroom with bath and shower. The bedroom level has an airco, so you're protected from urban soundscapes (think about certain events like at full moon e.g. ;)). Artworks of some renown friends and a Marshall audio system make it more then just exquisite.

this bijoux loft has recently been completely and lovingly renovated, equipped with a selection of tasteful objects and appliances to assure you a comfortable and tastefully aesthetic stay
the place is fully equipped for slow (and fast) cooks; fridge, induction cooking plate, combi-oven and all required accessories Coffee lovers will appreciate a variety of coffee appliances. I provide mostly bio-organic products, including milk, coffee and teas. I also use biodegradable products when possible and recycle all plastic, paper and glass. The electricity is provided by renewable energy from bio-gas production. Bedroom has an air-conditioning, so you can close the windows in case you're not used to the urban soundscapes of a vibrant city like ours. The Marshall sound system serves your musical needs. TV + vintage PS2 will help you to play the provided movies and games.

‘op den spieghel' is located in the very heart of historical antwerp, next to the ‘scheldt’, our river Our loft is the ideal base camp for any kind of expedition, job, or adventure: Museums, art galleries, churches, cafés, coffee bars, restaurants, a great amount of authentic shops, and even an art-house cinema are all in the immediate neighbourhood.
besides all these wealthy surroundings, our aerie is located at two steps from a fantastic bakery store, some great butcher shops, an ultra-fresh fish seller and some ultra-polite mini-markets for last-moment-groceries —Btw. Supermarkets, take-aways and some of the best cafés in town are just one step further… all still within a 5 minutes walking distance.
tip: no worries: we'll help you with ‘susha’s guidebook’ for an extended overview of our recommended restaurants, cafés, etc (the results of 30 years very dedicated ‘research’…). They’re all within a convenient price range.
