The beautiful floors are made from reclaimed heart pine wood that was reclaimed from a hundred year old barn in Jones County NC. The walls are worm hole cypress and rusted tin wains coting. Relax while taking a steamy shower in our aromatic red cedar bathroom. Sleep well or read a book on our remote control adjustable head Plush Sealy mattress. Enjoy your rest laying on our 1800 thread ct sheets while laying your head upon our hypoallergenic cool flow bamboo vented pillows. In the corner of the bedroom are a stack of antique apple crates that are available to put your clothes in. Our kitchen is equipped with stainless steel cookware, cooking utensils, plates, glasses, mixing bowls and silverware and small appliances such as crock pot, hand mixer, blender, can opener, toaster, and Hamilton Beach coffee maker. Sit back on the sleeper sofa or hickory bentwood rocker while watching TV on our 32 in HD flat screen TV or open the shades and enjoy the mountain views. As you go outside, you will find that there is a 320 sq ft porch for you to sit on to enjoy the cool crisp air of the Blue Ridge Mountains. There is an bistro table with 2 chairs that you can eat your breakfast, drink your coffee or drink a perfect glass of wine. As you take in the breath taking views, you may get the chance to see beautiful deer, a group of wild turkeys, an American Bald Eagle, that from time to time will fly around the holler, beautiful Bluebirds, Cardinals and other wild creatures that our God has created for us to enjoy. At times the property behind the cabin will have cows that will come up to the fence. It has been known that if you sing long and loud enough, the cows may come home. If you choose to venture out, downtown West Jefferson is just minutes away. Enjoy all of the little shops and don't forget to visit the Ashe County Cheese store.
