RiverSide GrandSuite | Apartment in Girona

Days for a great break in the historical centre of a small pretty city!
The apartment is in the heart of the old town, on a privileged location: right in front of the riverside. So you'll see the birds fishing in the morning, and the sun sets will just be yours, on a huge 4 meters wide window on the river.
In addition to the views, the silence is one of the pros of the apartment; the river is very quiet and the side on the street has been renewed with a top quality isolation.
The apartment used to be my own home and yoga center. Now the yoga room has become a very spacious bedroom, with a beautiful balcony on the street. The zone is pedestrian so there is no traffic at all to worry about. You have another, smaller room, that is also a bedroom.

Next to this room, the huge gallery has this views on the river: some 4 meters wide windows, with the typical Mediterranean blinds, painted in blue. Over there you have a full gas kitchen with all you need to prepare a good meal. It has microwave, oven, and even recepy books.
The bathroom is small but very comfortable: as the hot water comes from a gas heater, you will never miss a good shower.
As you can see in the pictures, the decoration is spare so you won't be disturbed, and the parquet flooring makes it very worm and cosy. We have tried to make it simple and elegant.
The living room is also very nice, as it has direct light from the river side, and a library with dozens of my loved personal books- you are welcome to read them.
The apartment has a washing machine. We provide fans for summer, and if you use the blinds and open the windows after the afternoon to let the breeze in you will be fine even in August. For winter we have central gas heating.
We have a washing machine, that you can use free of charge.

Neighbours: the building has 4 floor. Above yours, we have another tourist apartment. Don't worry we don't have people having parties, our profile is families enjoying quite holidays..
The basement of the building is a nice bar called La Terra, but no music comes through (I am very sensitive to ambiance music!)
The apartment has recently been renovated, and the builing was made by a famous local architect, Rafel Maso. It has its museum two doors away, but unfortunately our building has only a few details on Maso style.
As the apartment is just in the city centre, everything is there: restaurants, take away food, supermarkets, museums... and of course the cathedrals, les Rambles... Actually I have a blog with my recommendations of Girona- I can't write the web address in there, but you'll have it when you book.
Girona is a small city so it takes less than 20 minutes to get anywhere from the centre: the train station is about 20 minutes walk.
There is no transit behind the apartment, apart from birds passing by.
As we want the things to be really easy, you may check in as late as you need as the apartment lock works with a code. Also, you may check out late if there is no booking for the same day.

Girona is a city that call for long walks, for quiet evenings with a glass of wine, or maybe for a theatre or music night? Also, at it is very safe, you can walk until late at night, by the old wall, by the river...
There a good number of occasions to visit Girona: Girona temps de flors, when all the city is dressed with flowers, or by Easter, with the Processó de Setmana Santa. Also Fires by end octuber (thou it may be a bit crowded).
There is a very nice bar downstairs, and they'll let you pick your order upstairs and enjoy it at the apartment.
You won't find a nicest place in Girona. Also, as I am a private owner I can keep the price very reasonable.

- jar to filter water from the tap. It makes it nicer to drink.
- microwave with grill and super settings.
Cloths and cleaning: we use professionals services to make sure everything is perfect on your arrival.
