Beautiful Perigourdine style 4 bed-roomed house over basement on 1.5 acres of lawns with fabulous private pool for the sole use of the guests of La Belle Petraie. Bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, lounge and hall are all terrace level and suitable for wheelchair access. 1 double bedroom with double doors to terrace and pool, 1 twin bedroom, 2 single bedrooms, 1 double sofa bed in lounge. Main bathroom with 1 double basin, shower and bath. 2 separate toilets with basin & mirror. Kitchen : Gas Hob, Electric Oven, Microwave, Dishwasher, Large Fridge, Double doors to terrace, Table and Chairs to seat 6/8. Lounge comfortably seats 7 (large sofa bed, double sofa and two recliner chairs) + small bar with 2 stools, 3 double doors to terrace, Double faced fireplace to hall, Home Entertainment System. General: Linens & Towels provided, Free Wi-Fi Broadband. Pigeonnier - stairs off hall leads to small (bed)room with computer table and chair which overlooks the pool and the surrounding country side - we use it as a study so you can watch the kids while you work. Outside - Terrace - sunny all day, partially covered. Large cool 7m x 3.5m Pergola, Teak Garden Table & 6 Chairs, Sun Loungers, Parasols, Gas Barbecue. Basement - Garage, Utility Room, Table Tennis Table (workshop and cellar pump bot to be accessed by guests). We are sure you will find 'La Belle Pétraie' will be your ideal holiday home, but do not hesitate to contact us should you have any queries. At 'La Belle Pétraie' you will find 'a little bit of Heaven in France'! And the Swimming Pool is fantastic - reflecting blue skies, it is very private, for the use of La Belle Petraie guests only, just outside your own front door. It is easy to keep an eye on the kids in the pool as you work on your laptop in the Pigeonnier - the only upstairs room. Local Bilingual Representatives: Our local representatives are bilingual and live only a short distance away and will be available to help you in any way they can. Restaurants: There are 3 top class restaurants within walking distance of 'La Belle Pétraie' - Restaurant “Chez Alain” and La Brucelière in Issigeac itself and Le Relais de l’Ancienne Gare a short walk out the Eymet Road. There is also the (personally) highly recommended pizzeria and takeaway, Casa del Seyrat. On market days you will be lucky to find a table at the Auberge du café de France (café, restaurant), Café de l’Europe “Chez Annie”, La Petite Treille (salon de thé, petite Restauration) or Le Lion D'Or (bar) (our favourite on market day!) In July/August, watch out for the Marche Nocturne (Night Market) on Thursday nights where local food is available from several stalls and eaten at long communal tables in the village square - popular with both locals and tourists alike. Dogs Welcome - Extra Cleaning Fee €50 per week.
