feeling the need to get outside and move? you’re 09 miles from the Ellerbee Creek Trail, which can take you right into town! Whippoorwill Park is less than a mile away, and West Point on the Eno - the jewel of Durham’s Park system - is 2 miles up the road. rdu airport is 20 miles (about 20-25 minutes) away
durham amtrak, bus station and megabus pick up are downtown, 4 miles away
i-85, with access to i-40, hwy 70 & nc 147/885, is just 25 miles away
it’s easy to get to raleigh (25mi), chapel hill (14mi), or rtp (13mi) with a car, cab or lyft/uber
there is parking for 2 cars available in the driveway, and some free street parking (please be courteous of the ditches - no curbs!)
as stated in the house rules, there is an automatic minimum $250 service fee for any violations of house rules that require additional cleaning and/or cause damage This is our home. We have tried to make it comfortable for you and for us, and have been thoughtful in the amenities we provide. We appreciate you for exercising the same level of thought and care when staying here.
while we are happy to host families, please note that the house is not “child-proofed,” nor do we provide any child-focused amenities (no crib, pack-n-play, high chair, etc)
