Summary: Perfect for our 5 member family. Clean and comfortable. Very nice backyard/pool area with privacy. Kitchen was great for preparing meals. Location was good for our day trips (Joshua Tree National Park, Living Desert Zoo and Gardens, Aerial Tramway, drive to Idyllwild). Easy check-in and check-out. Couple of things of which to be aware. As noted in the description, the propane tanks for the grill are not filled by the host. We didn't grill because there was no propane (not worth the cost to fill 20lb tanks for just a couple of meals), and the grill was very dirty. Also, I had to contact the host to get directions for heating the hot tub. Missed out on using it the evening we arrived because we didn't know how to turn on the heater. It's set up to automatically heat during a time cycle from early morning to mid-afternoon. Manual intervention is required to heat it outside that time period. Host, however, was quick to respond when we reached out.
