Summary: The hotel is very beautiful and charming, the rooms are very large, clean, and luxurious, but the lack of soundproofing and the incessant, particularly loud noise from the surrounding streets at all hours of the day and night make sleep unpredictable, sporadic, and mostly impossible (even between 2 and 6 a.m. you'll hear scooter & rickshaw horns). Breakfast is not at all commensurate with the prices charged, and a continental breakfast is not available. Hotel Location: 7/10 Cleanliness: 10/10 Amenities: 7/10 Sleep: 2/10 Breakfast: 2/10 Furthermore, the hotel, located in a maze of narrow streets, is not accessible by car. The hotel will send a rickshaw in only a few minutes, 24/7, to pick you up and take you to the nearest main street, but this requires prior notice when arriving, and isn't practical with children or a lot of luggage. The staff are incredibly kind and professional in all circumstances. Staff: 11 (yes, eleven)/10 In short, a perfect place for a break with tea during the day, or for Instagram-worthy photos, but unfortunately not for sleeping.
