there are not very many properties in the keys that give you an ocean view with a private dock on a deep canal Our canal is 15-20 ft deep and an awesome place to go swimming. Since the home is right on the ocean, a lot of fish and wildlife come right up to the dock. You can actually see the Molasses Reef tower from the porch. Molasses Reef is 8 miles by boat and probably the best reef in the United States. A must see. In the winter, a group of snow bird pelicans arrive and spend their warm lazy days on the dock across the canal. The pelicans, sea gulls, herons, and other birds usually put on a tremendous air show hunting for fish in the canal and also on the flat across the canal.
