Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: It looks exactly like the pictures, clean and with unique character. It's clear that a lot of thought has been put into every detail. A little piece of Europe in downtown Oakland. I would definitely stay here again. Much better than the chain hotels!

Negative: I didn't mind it at all but be aware that you may have to climb a few stairs if your room is not on the ground floor. But the view of the inner courtyard was way worth it!
