It is placed in an idyllic setting at 3,000' elevation on a southern-facing slope overlooking woods and lush wildflower meadows bordering the headwaters of the Dan River as it flows toward historic Cockram Mill in the distance. This elegantly furnished cabin has two bedrooms, a spacious bath with seated shower, and an open great room under a high vaulted ceiling. A stone hearth with a gas log fireplace sets the scene for cozy romantic evenings, intimate family gatherings and quiet contemplation.
this lovely retreat can sleep up to six people, with a king-size bed in the master bedroom and a queen-size bed and full-size futon in the upper loft bedroom All linens and bedding are provided. Although authentically rustic in structure, this solidly-built cabin offers full contemporary comforts: central heat/air, washer/dryer, dishwasher, electric stove, microwave, refrigerator with ice maker, WiFi, and two Roku televisions (in great room and loft bedroom) equipped with cable vision and Blu-ray players. The well-appointed kitchen comes stocked with basic coffee supplies and an assortment of condiments. Paper products for kitchen and bath, along with dish and hand soap are provided. Land line telephone service is available for local and 800 number calls.
