Positive: Heartwarming stay at Mondi Lodge – a little oasis I didn’t want to leave I had a truly wonderful stay at Mondi Lodge – from the first moment it already felt like a little home away from home. The lodge has a warm, relaxed atmosphere and you can feel the love and care that went into creating the place. Check-in was easy and personal, and communication with the host was always quick, clear and genuinely friendly. Nothing felt “standard” or rushed – they really take the time for you and are happy to help with tips for beaches, restaurants and things to do on the island. The bungalow was cozy, spotless and very comfortable. The bed slept great, the air conditioning worked well and the Wi-Fi was reliable. I also really liked the small kitchen setup, which made it easy to prepare something simple when I didn’t feel like going out. The bathroom was clean, with a good shower and enough towels. The location is perfect: nicely tucked away in nature so it feels peaceful and private, but still only a short drive to Willemstad, supermarkets and some of the most beautiful beaches. Having a rental car is definitely useful, and there was always safe parking available on the property. What I loved most about Mondi Lodge were all the small details: • The lush garden and the feeling of being surrounded by nature • The quiet, relaxed vibe – ideal to unwind after a day of exploring • The kindness and warmth of the people running the place Overall, my stay at Mondi Lodge was more than just “accommodation” – it was an experience. I left with a full heart and would happily come back. I highly recommend Mondi Lodge to anyone visiting the island and looking for a peaceful, authentic and welcoming place to stay.
