Welcome to Casper Retreat, a designer-decorated home in the heart of Massanutten Resort. With 5 bedrooms, the house sleeps 14 comfortably (without even using sofas)! Relax in the hot tub, then enjoy a meal at the outdoor table or sip wine around the firepit. Inside you'll love the open floor plan with modern decor and plenty of space for larger groups. Downstairs is a second living room / game room with foosball, basketball, and arcade game. plus, pet friendly!

the house is about a 5 minute drive to the slopes, pool, and dining at massanutten, 6 minutes to the spa, and 7 minutes to the indoor/outdoor waterpark The Swift Run Gap entrance to Shenandoah National Park is 15 minutes away with some of the best hiking on the east coast. JMU and everything else in Harrisonburg is 20 minutes away, and there are several breweries, wineries, and restaurants within 15-20 minutes of the house.

this home is in a private residential neighborhood and is part of the massanutten property owners association (mpoa), governed by its rules and regulations There are rental homes in all MPOA neighborhoods, but people also live here. Your nearby neighbors may be full-time residents, including families with children, retirees, second-home owners and other guests enjoying their retreat.

tips for a happy hot tub
- be sure to unclip the hot tub cover before removing it
- please do not put anything besides people in the hot tub (like mulch or toys)
- if the water level doesn’t cover the jets, you can use the hose to add water Please disconnect the hose when done, especially in cold weather when it could freeze.
- always put the cover on the hot tub when not in use - this keeps the hot tub warm & filled with water Using the plastic clips helps keep it from blowing off.
- for safety reasons, please don’t add chemicals to the hot tub yourself If the water looks murky or has a smell, let us know, and we'll have our hot tub expert come by to treat it.
- do not drain the hot tub
- there's no need to turn off the hot tub It may run the jets on low periodically to circulate water through the filter—that’s totally normal.
- use plastic drinkware around the hot tub.
