located in sunrise park, one of palm springs’ most iconic midcentury neighborhoods, michelle blue is a stunning 3br/3ba home that combines both class and comfort for an amazing vacation experience Originally constructed by builder Jack Meiselman in 1959, this home underwent a full remodel in 2020, maintaining its classic midcentury spirit while enhancing its space, ambiance and finishes. Facing south, the home and yard have spectacular southwestern views of the mountains. The property is surrounded by a privacy wall that consists of original shadow-block elements common to the era. In the backyard, a canyon-blue saltwater pool and spa offer stunning mountain views. At the west end of the pool are several chaise lounges, backed by a large open green space. Nearby, an outdoor dining table for 6, and a stainless-steel gas grill await your backyard BBQ. The shaded patio offers more comfortable lounge seating that overlooks the pool and views, and a garden sanctuary at the east end of the property hosts a romantic sunset seating arrangement, complete with fire pit. Guests are greeted when they arrive by a big blue front door, hence the home’s name. Inside, a soft and light color pallet is complemented by lots of natural light, and a smart, open design. Some of the home's original features, including tongue-and-groove ceilings, oversized fireplace and clerestory windows continue to add their midcentury magic to the space.

Playful pillows and a geometric rug add softness and texture. A 55” HDTV is mounted for family movie nights, awards season, or the next big game. Primary Bedroom: Light and airy design, lots of natural light. King bed, walk-in closet, 55” HDTV, mid-mod furnishings, sliding glass walk-out to pool, west-facing windows with mountain views; en suite bath with custom tile walk-in shower. Guest Bedroom One: Vibrant design, period piece furniture, king bed, dressing wardrobe, working desk, and sliding glass walk-out to private patio. Across hall access to guest bath with a beautifully restored original blue tile shower. Guest Bedroom Two: Bright and lively design, mid-mod furnishings, queen bed, walk-in closet, 55” HDTV; en suite bath with custom tile shower.
