Summary: The house itself is nice, it is in desperate need of repairs. Blinds are missing in 2 bedrooms, the front door is a security hazard, I was locked out and we had a hard time opening it to go outside. The house was NOT cleaned prior to us arriving and had not been in some time. Mike responded to our call the first day but thought we should've contacted him sooner than 2 hours of us being there. He did send maintenance to look at door and blinds. Maint worker said this has been a problem and they don't do anything about it. He said he was only there to measure not replace the blinds. Mike did offer to send housekeeping over on Saturday morning but 1/2 the house was sleeping and we had already cleaned. The kitchen is bare, don't go thinking you will be cooking. We asked for dish towels and got dollar store towels at a home we paid $1000 a night for. The refrigerator ice and water dispenser have MOLD. The floors were filthy. No kitchen start up soaps or sponges. Not enough coffee cups for 10 people, Mike did bring by some dirty ones for us. SIlverware is cheap and mismatched, outdoor chaise are rusted and falling apart. Blinds in pool table room has stains from drink that have been spilt on them. Dust everywhere. There is no manual for the is house. We had no idea how to work anything or if we had to return the keys or not. You have to go to a resort ot pick up and return keys to not really convenient. The VRBO listing is incorrect there is no room with a king and a queen bed in it. This would be a great rental if owner/manager took some time and did repairs and cleaned the house up. FYI VRBO only contacts the listing manager if they don't respond (as Mike did not respond to calls and emails) VRBO can not do anything for you!!! BIG DISPPOINTMENT!!!
