If you enjoy the birds awakening you in the morning, then Meadow Springs Lodge is your little bit of paradise. Enjoy the quiet of the countryside but with only a short drive to the Village of Bobcaygeon with all amenities. The historical lodge has all the conveniences of home, with a huge dining area for eating. Large living areas for relaxing by the stone fireplace. Enjoy the spring water for drinking and bathing from the natural springs waters. Lot's of bedrooms with comfortable beds all decorated with country charm. Beautiful sunrise views across the lake. The property also has room for outdoor activities such as badminton, soccer, putting, or Boche ball. Additional Information Home is in close proximity to the ATV trails, just north of Bobcaygeon. Owners agree to transport renter to and from the Village of Bobcaygeon if needed, complimentary. Bringing your family dog to the property is allowed if it is well behaved and it is agreed that the dog will be picked up after. The owners are onsite in a separate living arrangement, there to maintain the property and to answer any questions should they arise but do not interfere with your privacy. Lodge overlooks Pigeon Lake, with approximate two to three minute walk from the house across private grounds to private waterfront area with docking for your small fishing boat and access for swimming. A picnic table is available at the waterfront. If you have any doubts as to what is available and what to expect while at Meadow Springs Lodge, please feel free to inquire. Waterfront is on the north end of Pigeon Lake. From the property you can go through the Trent Severne Waterway, or you can spend the whole day just on Pigeon Lake for all kinds of watersports. Tie up your twenty foot motorboat, go fishing from the dock, or go for a quick dip. Renting pleasure craft in Bobcaygeon is available, but you must book early as not to be disappointed. We recommend Buckeye Marina. New 20 foot docking being added for your pleasure this summer! There is a picnic table with umbrella for shade at the waterfront as well. A Marina is just across the lake where you can rent a houseboat, get gas for your boat, or play a nine hole golf game. Bobcaygeon has all amenities, lot's of shopping along Bolton and Main Streets, the famous locks where you can watch boats pass by from around the world, buy a Kawartha Dairy icecream, listen to free concerts in the park, buy your groceries at two large grocery stores.
