our power supply is a combination of grid electricity, backup diesel generator and backup solar batteries (enough to support the wifi router, all lighting, and geysers)

we have a cleaner on site who is available daily for 2-3 hours per shift to clean the house As we aim to keep the accommodation to the standard of a boutique guest lodge, it is imperative that she has access to the property at least once every 2 days to maintain the standard of the property.
the cleaner washes all linen that we provide but should you require personal laundry of your own effects that can be arranged directly with her at your own cost and can be paid directly to her
we have two very shy ginger cats, pookie and ray-ray They mainly stay at the caretaker’s cottage but sun themselves in the garden all day!.
