we are in the authentic costa rican town of parrita, a town where you can slow down, relax and unwind, learn spanish, enjoy the authentic cuisine and sip on a a fresh fruit smoothies

parrita is known for the popular festivity called "festival de las mulas' in february, it includes parades, concerts, exhibitions, bullfighting and the traditional race of mules
we are close to jaco, hermosa, esterillos and bejuco to the north with quepos,
manuel antonio, uvita and dominical to the south

this home makes a great home base as it's very central to many areas on the pacific coast, all within 40 minutes of the property on good driving roads No 4x4 needed here.
visit the neighboring towns & beaches by car or public bus with playa jaco 40 mins, esterillos 20 mins, bejuco15 mins, quepos 15 mins,
manuel antonio national park 30 mins
the nearest beach is 10 mins away, but there are many worth visiting along the coast
other destinations / attractions for nature loving tourists include the damas estuary mangrove, home to a wide variety of animals the parrita river for white water rafting, sport fishing for tuna, marlin and more, quepos is great for cruises and festivals,
