Chalet Mélusine is built in traditional style with lots of wood and natural stone which gives it a warm appearance. The decor is rustic and attractive; an excellent holiday address for a relaxing winter sports holiday. The diverse ski area of Alpe d’Huez Grand Domaine is one of the largest ski regions in France. Thanks to 240 km of pistes, skiers and snowboarders of all levels can find a piste that meets their needs. The name 'Alpe d’Huez Grand Domaine' has replaced the previous title 'Les Grandes Rousses'. Chalet Mélusine is a charming detached chalet on the Altiport slope of Alpe d'Huez. Built with lots of wood and natural stone in a traditional style, it is full of character. The chalet, measuring around 200 m2, has three floors, with the top floor featuring lots of wooden beams and a sloping roof. On the ground floor, the chalet has two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with a bunk bath, a bathroom with shower and toilet, a laundry room with washing machine and dryer and a nice private sauna. It is easy to dry your skis in the spacious ski storage room with boot warmers. On the first floor you will find a cosy living room with fireplace and a sitting area with TV. The open kitchen is fully equipped. On the second floor, the chalet offers four bedrooms, two with two single beds each and two with a double bed each, and a second bathroom with bath and toilet. A third bathroom with shower adjoins two of these bedrooms. On this floor you will also find an additional bedroom with two single beds and a private bathroom with shower and toilet. There are several outside balconies and a hot tub. You can park one car in the chalet's heated garage. Other cars can be parked in the three uncovered parking spaces close to the chalet.
