Summary: Had a rough start at check in with the room being 62degrees, open window, no idea how to work the heat, lamp not working, and bulbs out in bathroom. It was like house keeping left without finishing. Ultimately staff took care of everything but it just left a bad first impression. Also if you think, like we did, we were booking a fireplace room; the fireplace is wood burning, no wood. Although I suppose we could have bought wood and had a fire, we just expected gas. Breakfast was nice. The property is a bit dated, but maybe that’s part of the attraction for some.
