the house dates back to 1890 It served as the home to the families of pastors of the Episcopalian church in the neighborhood for many years. The mid 1980's brought a damaging fire. The renovations were done with a Bed and breakfast in mind the result of which was 7 ensuite bedrooms. Some of the original wood floors were saved albeit a bit worse for wear. Floor to ceiling windows in the living room and dining room add to the charm. A sprinkling of antiques and many original paintings, many by local Maine artists, adorn the premises.
