Positive: We discovered Hotel Villa Paradiso while walking around Taormina last year and we were staying down by the beach at that time. We decided to book and stay there this year and we were so happy with our choice. Being up in the town added a different element to our holiday and it felt a lot easier to get the most from our day. Our favourite beach club (lido Caravella) would pick us up at a specified time and return us later in the afternoon. We then had lots of rest time either in the hotel or going out easily for apperetivi. It was a great hotel with the most amazing views from our balcony. The staff, who are mostly family, were so lovely to chat with and helped us with fantastic restaurant recommendations. Breakfast was very good with a generous selection and more wonderful views, as it is on the top floor of the hotel. Our room was very spacious and well laid out. I have to say that the little sweet treats we were given on arrival were delicious! Andrea was the main gentleman at reception and he was always ready to assist us whenever necessary. We look forward to returning.

Negative: If I was to be very, very picky it would be to have breakfast stay open just a half an hour longer. We were always late :)

Summary: It was such a memorable stay. One where we didn't want to leave!
