Positive: The hotel is huge, but somehow even though it was full, there is enough space around the pool and enough fantastic slides, to disperse people so that waiting times were not long at all. Same with the restaurant, which is also huge! The staff on the floor are quick and thorough to clear tables and reset and the chef team were great at replenishing. The hotel were quick to accommodate my need for gluten free options for breakfast with many cereal, biscuit and bread options. I didn’t test this for dinner however as there was enough on offer to avoid wheat items. It was a short 5 minute walk to the awesome beach! Many really good restaurant options and loads to do, notably the giant inflatable assault course out to sea… everyone got life jackets and it was accessible for all swim abilities, but it is tough to stay on the slippery slides, so you must have some brave confidence and strength to get back on when you fall off. Lovely VR experience at the castle as well. Loads of little trinket shops that my 10 year old was infatuated with. Really fun little tourist town.
Negative: Hmmm, there was not really anything we didn’t like about the hotel, although my hubby thought the decors were a bit dated.
