Positive: We arrived in the evening after a long bike trip. We had no trouble with the self check-in. The room and bathroom were really clean, and we could fit our bikes in the room as well. In the morning, we met the staff during check-out, which made the overall experience even better. My positive rating is especially in comparison with the other accommodations we stayed at during our trip from Bilbao to San Sebastián. The quality at Hotel Ibaigune was really high for the price, whereas at some other accommodations, we felt that the rooms had been furnished and prepared with little care, as if they had simply been put together to accommodate tourists and make a profit. Even though the hotel Ibaigune’s appearance is a bit dated, as someone complains in the reviews, you can feel the quality in a way that you don’t in several newly renovated places.
