the building originally looked like a taiwanese classic townhouse Team members from June June House met this building and regarded it as their serendipity. Being fascinated at a wonderful view from the art museum, team members start managing J Youai House after combining all of the materials and cooperating with a new ownership.
j youai house achieves a smooth balance of space through open-mindedness and compromise
open-mindedness allows the wind, light, scenery, and even the rain to enter the space immerse ourselves in the space, wind, light, celestial bodies in nature, outdoor streets, people and citizens who wander around the art museum, and the amazing mori mountain market…
compromise is the best way to reflect yourself on the space We tried to scale down the size of rooms and created a big balcony that can gather people together or enjoy solitude.

first floorï¼
the kitchen is planned for the first floor, featuring a large terrazzo island that showcases our work We provide a 3M water dispenser, Induction stove, steam cooker, dish dryer, microwave, coffee machine, food waste machine, refrigerator, and tableware.
j youai house is located in the center of tainan city, and there is lots of tasty food nearby In addition, it’s really close to five characteristic markets. You can easily purchase food or cook by yourself.

a book wall is near a balcony Books on the book wall are selected by the owner of Eat Book, an independent bookstore from Changbin. Hope those books will broaden your horizon and give you more interest in reading.

you can sit, lie, and use the most comfortable way to feel and enjoy a changing time
we provide a projector with free netflix and a projection screen in the sunroom area This place is also perfect for hanging out with friends in the moonlight.

after getting rid of an iron roof, which is a classic part of an old house in taiwan, the fourth floor becomes a rooftop Standing on a platform to overlook the view will have an easeful feeling, and it’s perfect to hang out with friends and have some drinks or food at night.​

after scaling down the bedrooms, you can enjoy the night's beauty in a cozy room with a deep hue Moreover, there is a unique bedroom that is designed layer upon layer. When paired with an elastic but steady mattress, you can experience a gentle embrace while sleeping.
※we offer three bedrooms, each ranging from 13 to 165 square meters.

there are three bathrooms in the building One of them provides a bathtub that can enjoy your time.

the guests in tainan city shall stop using karaoke equipment every day from 10 pm to 8 am the next day The guests DO NOT make noise or disturb the peace in public.
anyone who violates the above regulations shall be fined nt$10,000 to nt$50,000 Involving violations of the Law on the Social Order Maintenance Act and noise control shall be transferred to the relevant authorities for punishment.
if the guests and travel companions violate the above regulations, the penalty will be fully borne by the booker and the perpetrator

we are located in a residential area Please lower your voice after 22:00.
please follow prevention measures before booking, or we will reject your reservation
for the safety of travelers, we install the security equipment at the pedestrian arcade, a gate entrance, balconies, and the platform on a rooftop
the commercial photography(online auction, catalog, advertisement,etc…) must be applied in advance, or we will charge you for the one day's rental of six people
• please make sure that the number of people renting matches the number of people reserved If the number of guests exceeds the maximum capacity, we will charge a fee of $1500 NT dollars per extra person and reserve the right to reject your reservation. The cancellation will be carried out in accordance with the regulations of the platform.
• no smoking(including the whole building and balconies) We would like to ask for a one-day room charge for six people as an additional cleaning fee if you break a law.
• no pets allowed If you bring your pet, we would like to decline your stay.
• we don’t provide a cleaning service and new sheets and towels during the stay If you need, please inform us in advance and need to pay fees according to the list below.
• adding and changing the toiletries in the rooms should pay more cleaning fees Towels, bath towels, and hand towels are $50 NT dollars/piece. Sheets, quilts, and pillows are $100 NT dollars/ piece.
• those who break stuff in the public space or room should compensate for the price
• please make sure to keep room keys If it is lost or damaged, you need to pay the compensation of $1000 NT dollars.
• please provide your id card or passport to confirm, and fill out the registration form, or we will reject your reservation
• j youai house doesn't provide bottled water and disposable toiletries Please bring your own bottle and toiletries.
• to complete the check-out procedure, please notify us by sending a message after checking-out
• we hope travelers can interact with people, the space, and yourself through j youai house As a result, we only provide a projector with free Netflix and a projection screen without TV.
• there are platforms and slopes with different heights and outdoor balconies on a rooftop in the space We also consider the safety of glass rails on balconies. As a result, we only accept travelers above 12.
• j youai house is a classic townhouse in tainan with traditional grinding-stone stairs For the convenience of travelers, please feel free to use a luggage storage space on the first floor.
• please take trash and recycling to the first floor, and maintain tidy rooms and public space
cancellation policy: 14 days before arrival In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.
